Step Into Statesboro Tour Guide

Position Description

Introduce Georgia Southern students to downtown Statesboro, lead a guided walking tour of downtown and local neighborhoods get students thinking about important local issues, talk to students about engagement and leadership opportunities.

Minimum Requirements

Experience volunteering or working with a community agency in Statesboro or has gone on a Step into Statesboro tour.

Expectations

Lead a group of 5-10 students through a guided tour of downtown Statesboro; Be willing to share your personal experiences, the programs and groups you are involved with, and how Statesboro may compare to your hometown; Guide your group through a reflection and share information on how they can get further involved on campus and in the community.

Specific Time Commitments

Attend two community events from a list provided. Attend two full day tour guide trainings.
