Southern Leaders Coach

Position Description

The Southern Leaders Coach mentors and leads assigned group of new freshman Southern Leaders through coaching modules. Coaches engage in the following: foster positive relationships among group members, organize meetings, lead group in Variety Show preparation, acclimate freshmen to Southern Leaders and Georgia Southern University, expose freshmen to transformational leadership practices through coaching modules and organize social gatherings for group.

Minimum Requirements

Member of Southern Leaders, Must have been a participant in coaching program, A rising sophomore, junior or senior.

Expectations

Attends Southern Leaders Leadership Retreat, Attends bi-weekly coaches meeting with coaching chair, Organizes and attends five coaching module meetings for group, Attends Variety Show.
