It’s On Us Week of Action
The “It’s On Us” campaign was launched in 2014 by the White House in an effort to prevent sexual assault on college campuses by asking students to change their own attitudes and practice bystander intervention.
Bystander Intervention refers to noticing when a sexual assault is about to occur and stepping in to stop it.

| Commit to Consent Rally | October 12 | 11:00am-2:00pm | Russell Union Rotunda (Statesboro) Student Union Ballroom (Armstrong) | Your understanding of consent may be different from your neighbor’s. This event is focused on educating you and your fellow students on the actual definition of consent. |
| Day for Survivors | October 13 | 11:30am-3:30pm | Russell Union Commons (Statesboro) Student Union (Armstrong) | This event provides an opportunity to learn more about prevention and advocacy while also giving survivors a space to reclaim and tell their stories. |
