Each semester The Office of Career and Professional Development hosts multiple career fairs, events and programming to assist employers in connecting with students and alumni. If you have any questions, please contact our office at (912) 478-5197 or by email at email@example.com.
Eagle Expo is one of the largest career fairs on campus each semester, where employers from all industries have the opportunity to recruit students from all majors. Each semester, about 700 students attend. Eagle Expo is usually held in late September and late February, and is accompanied by opportunities for on-campus recruiting, including on-campus interviews, information sessions, and department-specific networking events.
Education Career Fair
Usually held in November and March, this fair connects you with undergraduate and graduate students in our College of Education, most of whom by this point have completed various practicum and student teaching positions. Make sure to check the above events list to see about opportunities on both the Statesboro and Armstrong campus.
Graduate School Fair
Held annually to accommodate application deadlines, this fair is the place to meet students searching for that perfect-fit graduate program. Make sure to check the above events list to see about opportunities on both the Statesboro and Armstrong campus.
Spring Career Fair
As the name suggests, this is the final career fair of the academic year, allowing employers one more opportunity to connect with students before summer break. This is a great place to recruit for last-minute openings you may have for full-time and internship positions.
STEM Career Fair
Focusing on the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) industries, these events are usually held near the beginning of each semester, in early September and early February. Those interested in recruiting the night before the fair, may also participate in STEM Night. STEM Night brings employers together for panel discussion and information sessions, designed to help students understand the value of co-op and internship experience and how to best prepare themselves to become top candidates. Immediately after the panel discussion, employers have the opportunity to present information sessions about their company specifically.
In addition to all these recurring events, we are constantly working with academic departments to bring employers on campus for networking opportunities geared toward specific majors. You can find upcoming events on our Calendar or on Handshake.
