Recommendation Requests

PLEASE BE ADVISED: For the best consideration the preference is that requests for recommendations, including required documents, should be submitted no less than 30 days prior to the recommendation deadline date and absolutely no less than 15 days minimum. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis by the requested recommender. Academic requests (i.e. scholarships, professional programs, professional schools, graduate schools), take precedent over other recommendations. Keep in mind recommendations for graduate programs and internships, especially those involving research, should include your professors or other faculty who can attest to your research experience. With that said, always keep a current list of possible recommenders besides TRIO staff.

PLEASE NOTE:Making a request does not guarantee it will be honored. The 30 day submission will allow enough time for the requester to find another recommender if needed.
