What is TRIO Student Support Services at Armstrong/Liberty Campuses?

The Armstrong/Liberty TRIO Student Support Services is a program for current or incoming students who need academic assistance and other services to be successful at the University.

Funded by a Department of Education federal grant to the University, the project provides:

  • Advising,
  • Instruction,
  • Tutoring,
  • Mentoring, and
  • Informational Workshops for eligible participants.

Who is TRIO Student Support Services For?

TRIO Services are available to:

  • First Generation Students
  • Students from Low-Income Families
  • And Students with Disabilities

Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong/Liberty Student Support Services Project is a U.S. Department of Education TRIO Program and is 100% supported from 2020-2025 in Federal funds each year.
