Student Media’s photojournalists gain an array of experiences ranging from a bus explosion for The George-Anne to directing an artistic photoshoot for our Magazines Department. They have covered celebrity interviews as well as football games in triple overtime. Student Media photojournalists are more than people who can point cameras and click- Student Media photojournalists are storytellers.
Our videographers gain experience by producing and directing talk shows with The George-Anne’s anchors. These shows air on Statesboro’s cable TV network. Videographers also shoot news clips for thegeorgeanne.com, our daily news site. This division provides incomparable, real-world training with video equipment and editing.
