Engagement Model

• Students will be able to gain personal competencies related to decision-making, communication, and customer service by being empowered through leadership and programming opportunities.

• Students will be able to develop a sense of personal identity through, self-discovery, establishing a leadership style, balancing personal and shared values, and expressing themselves.

• Students will be able to understand how to work with others by developing their role in an organization, navigating processes within a system, and developing mutual respect among others.

• Students will be able to build, foster, and invest in an inclusive environment while celebrating diversity in all its forms and understanding other’s experiences, to positively impact their community.

• Students will be able to connect to Georgia Southern University through formal and informal involvement opportunities by engaging resources & networks, and establishing a “True Blue” attitude.

• Students will be able to foster their commitment to holistic well-being within themselves and their student organizations.
