Process for all Candidates
- Fill out the Candidate Intent to Run form. Candidates qualifications have to be screened to ensure candidate is eligible to run in SGA elections.
- All eligible candidates must attend one Candidate Information Session (registration links below).
- Campaign according to the Campaign Guidelines and only during the campaigning window: March 20 at 8:00 a.m. – March 31 at 11:59 p.m.
- Elections are March 27-29, 2022 and open to the entire student body to vote.
Candidate Information Sessions
All candidates are required to attend one of the available Candidate Information Sessions. All sessions will take place virtually on Zoom. Register for one session using the links below.
- Monday, February 27th at 6:00pm – Register Here
- Wednesday, March 1st at 7:00pm – Register Here
- Tuesday, March 7th at 7:00pm – Register Here
Elections Timeline
- February 20 – March 8 Complete the Candidate Intent to Run Form
- DEADLINE TO FILE IS MARCH 8th
- All submissions will receive a notification after submitting their form to their Georgia Southern email after determining eligibility.

Elections (Vote online via MyGeorgiaSouthern link) - March 30th at 12:00 p.m.
Announcement of Winners - April 3 at 6:00 p.m.
All newly elected members of SGA attend SGA Senate meeting to be recognized
