Occupational Outlook Handbook

The Occupational Outlook Handbook is a resource provided by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is a federal career resources offering detailed information on the majority of all recognized careers. Some of the information provided on each career includes job duties, work environment, educational requirements, average pay and job outlooks.

Research completed using the OOH can be done in anywhere from 15 minutes to several hours depending on the number of careers researched and level of information being reviewed. This resource is best suited for students who have specific questions about careers, or are interested in learning more details about potential career tracks.
