The Major and Career Exploration Center (MACE) promotes the examination of academic and career related questions and concerns to better equip students with the tools to make informed decisions. Peer-to-peer interactions provide students utilizing the center opportunities to be transparent in their exploration, while also ensuring access to professionals in both the Office of Advising and the Office of Career and Professional Development to continue determining their academic future at Georgia Southern and their professional future after graduation.
How We Can Help
When visiting MACE, you will meet with a trained MACE Peer Advisor who will help you determine your next steps in your exploration process. You may just be starting out with some self-exploration, needing to narrow down your majors of interest, or wanting to explore what career paths suit you best. We have resources and activities designed to meet you where you are at and can help get you further connected to campus and community resources.
The Major and Career Exploration Center has in-person drop-in availability on both the Armstrong and Statesboro campuses as well as virtual appointments through Handshake for Armstrong, Statesboro, and Liberty campus students.
