Fall 2020 Welcome Stations/Mask Distribution

Fall 2020 is right around the corner! To help welcome new and returning students to all of our campuses, welcome stations will be setup in locations across all 3 campuses in Statesboro, Savannah, and Hinesville. These stations will have campus maps, FREE university issued facial coverings/masks for off campus students, and volunteers to help give directions/answer questions. Students living on campus have masks placed in their rooms upon move in. Each student will receive 2 masks.

Students living off campus will need to present their university ID in order to receive their masks and can go to any station listed above. Safety and caution are of the utmost concern at Georgia Southern and all students are expected to “Do Right” when it comes to wearing face coverings on and off campus. It is policy of the University System of Georgia (USG) that faculty, staff, students, and visitors at all colleges and universities in the System wear face coverings when in campus buildings or facilities where six (6) feet social distancing may not always be possible. Face covering use will be in addition to and is not a substitute for social distancing. Students may wear a university issued face covering or another of their choosing.

August 17 and 18, 7:30 AM – 5 PM

The following locations will be staffed with faculty/staff volunteers from across the university on Monday/Tuesday, August 17 and 18 from 7:30 AM-5 PM. Click HERE for a map of all campuses.
