Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of Student Conduct is to educate students on social responsibility by providing educational resources and by facilitating the student conduct process guided by the Georgia Southern University Code of Student Conduct.

Our objectives are to:

  • Uphold the academic and behavioral standards of the University by adjudicating violations of the Student Conduct Code in a fair and consistent manner, treating each student with dignity and respect.
  • Challenge students to adopt an informed set of ethics and values expressed through civility, academic integrity, acceptable standards of behavior, and a commitment to social responsibility.
  • Educate students of the consequences associated with behaviors that violate University and community standards.
  • Act as a student conduct liaison for faculty, staff, and the community.


The Office of Student Conduct promotes and maintains a safe environment by upholding the integrity of the Code of Student Conduct through education and engaging students, faculty and staff within the Georgia Southern community.
