Study in this area develops familiarity with the institutions and instruments within our financial system and an understanding of the problems of financing business activity. The finance major includes the study of the techniques and tools for solving financial problems. The curriculum is flexible, exposing students to general areas of applied financial management. The BBA in finance offers courses in various fields within the finance discipline, including real estate, insurance, banking and regional financial planning. In addition, the program offers coursework in the traditional areas of investment, financial institutions, and international finance. The broad array of courses allows each student to design a program of study that suits his or her career plans.
