Parents and Families

Career development is an evolving process with many steps that range from choosing a major to finding full-time employment.  As a parent or family member, your encouragement and guidance can help your student stay on track. The Office of Career and Professional Development created a Four-Year Career Plan to help your student stay on track and allows you to become a partner in their career journey.

No matter where your student stands in the process, we have the resources to help. Encourage them to visit our office and website, and take advantage of the wide array of services, programs, and resources available to help them reach their career potential. Scheduling an appointment with a Career Development Specialist is a great first step.

Have your student contact the Office of Career and Professional Development for more information.
