Our role includes providing you and your students with information about:

  • Career development programs (Mock Interview Day, Patrick Combs)
  • Career-related experiences (career fairs and employer information sessions)
  • Job search services (Eagle Career Net)
  • Students and alumni may use our services at any point during their Georgia Southern experiences.  Certain career assessments require a small fee, but most services are free.  Each college population has an assigned professional staff member.   Each Career Development Specialist has a presence in college buildings on specific days and times of the week.

The Office of Career and Professional Development has created an Four-Year Career Plan for students that focus on four action stages— explore, decide, experience and implement. Students who participate in this plan will be competitive when starting their professional careers.
