GreenFest: Sustainable Solutions for Your Life
GreenFest is a fun-filled community sustainability celebration packed with green exhibits, vendors and workshops to educate visitors about green living. Enjoy live music, activities for the kids, and green products and sustainable solutions for the whole family. Free workshops on Main Street and in partnership with the Statesboro Mainstreet Farmers Market will help you save green while living green.

Who is invited?
EVERYONE! GreenFest offers something for the whole family. See the 2021 workshops, activities and vendors below. Vendors and exhibitors who sell or promote sustainable products and/or activities will provide information and products on the Bulloch County courthouse lawn and along E. Main Street.

2021 Event Schedule & Exhibitors and Vendors

7:30-8:30am vendor check-in and setup
9:00am Festival begins on Bulloch County Courthouse lawn and along East Main
Ongoing: Food Preservation Workshop at Statesboro Mainstreet Farmers Market
9am – 1pm Electronics Recycling dropoff (Goodwill and Dell) – ongoing throughout the festival: location Courtland and Siebald Streets – enter Courtland St. from the east: pull in to Siebald by the courthouse and drop off items (no tube tv’s accepted)
9am-1pm Clean Up the Boro  – meet in front of Synovus Bank at the Keep Statesboro Bulloch Beautiful tent
10am – 1pm Plant yourself at the Fab lab – 3D printed planters and Greenfest keychains (every 30 minutes)

Georgia Southern Tri-Beta- Butterfly Life Cycle: Display real butterflies, kids craft butterfly life cycle made with noodles, give out information that educates the kids about the butterfly life cycle. Butterfly release at end of GreenFest

2017 Event Schedule & Exhibitors and Vendors

hanks for an amazing 5th annual GreenFest, Statesboro! We had more than 1500 visitors, 40 vendors exhibits and activities, great live music, 20 pallet creations in the pallet challenge, 20 rain barrels constructed in the rain barrel workshop, and 100 volunteers to clean up the Blue Mile with Keep Statesboro, Bulloch Beautiful. Thanks to Smoothie King for the free smoothies, to Braswells for donating some barrels for the rain barrel workshop, to over 100 volunteers for running the event, to Pallet One for sponsoring the Pallet Challenge prizes, to our pallet judges. A green time was had by all!
