On behalf of the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, I
welcome you to Georgia Southern University. I am Teresa Thompson, Vice
President of the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.
Our role in Student Affairs and Enrollment Management is to provide a variety of services to students. First, Enrollment Services such as Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration, and University Housing assists your entry to the University. In addition we provide many other services and opportunities-- Career Services, Academic Success Center, Multicultural Student Center, and Campus Recreation and Intramurals-- to name several, that will help you build your social and professional skills. Our commitment is to do all we can to help you learn as a student and grow as a person.
You will find that Georgia Southern University is a campus where there are many opportunities for students to become involved in organizations of all kinds: academic clubs, fraternities and sororities, service organizations such as the Student Government Association, and intramurals.
