ETS Mentoring Academy Helps Equip Students for Success
Educational Talent Search is proud to offer two Mentoring Academy programs this year. Boyz-to-Men and Sister-2-Sister both offer ETS participants in grades 9-12 the opportunity to network with college students and professionals from the community.
The Mentoring Academy started the school year with a retreat in September and have met one Saturday each month since. Of the 50 students in the two programs, 14 were chosen to travel to the 6th Annual Student Initiative Weekend in Atlanta. The November program, sponsored the Georgia Association of Special Programs Personnel (GASPP), was filled with leadership and motivational workshops, as well as competitions with students from across the state.
