In
September of 2000, the University adopted a policy that recognizes your
Georgia Southern email account as an official method of correspondence.
Official email correspondence will have 'Georgia Southern University EAGLEGRAM' as the
subject. Students
are expected to regularly check their accounts for activity.
In some cases, your Georgia Southern email account will be the only
method of communication utilized to communicate important information to
