Greetings Eagle Nation! My name is Valencia Warren and I am so proud to be able to serve “One More Time” as your 2017-2018 Executive Vice President. I got my start in leadership because someone took just a moment to plant an emotional investment in me. Simon Sinkek once said, “When people are financially invested, they want a return. When people are emotionally invested, they want to contribute.” I am emotionally invested in the students of this campus and to the elevation of this institution. I recognize the unique ideas, backgrounds, and dynamics of each individual and I’m committed to engaging the Eagle Nation through the Student Government Association. It is time for our students taking ownership of their campus experience through SGA. This dynamic executive team will bring the energy, experience and passion necessary to ensure that student needs are met. Please feel free to contact me through email or stop me if you see me around campus. Hail Southern!! I can’t wait to chat!

Hello, Eagles. My name is Grantson Martin, and I am serving as your 2017-2018 Vice President of Academic Affairs. I was born and raised in Hawkinsville, Georgia. I graduated from Fullington Academy in 2014 and started college at Middle Georgia State University’s School of Aviation that fall. After obtaining my Private Pilot’s License and holding several leadership positions there, I transferred to Georgia Southern in the spring of 2016. I had been involved in leadership roles since high school, so I was naturally attracted to Student Government Association. Two weeks after coming to Georgia Southern, I interviewed to become an SGA Senator for CLASS. I was successful, and I have been a member of SGA since that day. In the 2016-2017 academic year, I served as the first Chief of Staff of SGA. This position was implemented to be a chief adviser to the SGA President and to oversee all the individual projects of SGA Senators. I decided to run for VP of Academic Affairs because academics and the academic advancement and success of our institution is very important to me. I am very happy with where our institution is headed, and I look forward to serving the student body throughout this year.

Hello Students! I am very much looking forward to serving as Student Government’s 2nd appointed Chief of Staff. I have the opportunity to work very closely with your student representatives through their senator projects. Throughout the year, my goal is to reach out to as many student groups, while tangibly meeting the concerns of students by means of the senator projects.

I was born and raised in Peachtree City, Ga where I graduated from McIntosh High School. In my free time, I am a fashion illustrator and a Nordstrom Salesperson. I have previously been appointed, later elected as a Senator in the College of Business Administration. I also serve as a Southern Ambassador and have been involved in a Greek Life organization.

Hellooo Eagles! I’ve just joined the Eagles Nation this year after graduating from Armstrong , which is now coincidentally apart of Georgia Southern as well.  Since arriving here, I have noticed how much the students, faculty and staff really love and care about each other. My job as the Eagles for Eagles for Eagles GA is a direct example of  that love.  I am honored to be this unique position of helping students in extreme financial hardship. I look forward to working with everyone on campus to raise money for Eagles for Eagles and if any student organizations or individuals have fundraising ideas, please feel free to reach out!
