Honors Day

Eight and nine o'clock classes will be cancelled.

Honors Day is held each spring on the first Wednesday in April. The Honors Day Convocation highlights outstanding students from all disciplines and areas of college life.

Any organization wishing to present a new award should make application through the Honors Committee. New awards to be presented on Honors Day must be submitted for approval by the Honors Committee before the end of the previous Fall Semester. Criteria and information about the award can be sent to the Office of the Registrar and the coordinator of the Honors Day will submit the information to the Chair of the Honors Committee. Basic criteria for an award to be approved for Honors Day may be obtained from the coordinator by addressing an e-mail to tsaylor@georgiasouthern.edu.
