WINGS Registration Instructions
You must have your Registration Access Number prior to registering on the web, you will get this from your advisor during advisement.
You can look up your advisor here:
http://students.georgiasouthern.edu/registrar/advisor.htm or in your WINGS account under Registration then View Student Information and Assigned Advisor.
Logging In:
You will need to go to
https://my.georgiasouthern.edu/ to log in.
- New/First Time Students: You will need to look up your login information https://my.georgiasouthern.edu/my-get-start.php
- Current Students: Your Username is your e-mail username and your initial password is your Eagle ID.
- Staff: Full-time staff who are taking course as students will use your Novell/Groupwise Account.
IF YOU ARE NOT TAKING COURSES AND/OR DO NOT ACCESS WINGS OR WEBCT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THIS SYSTEM.
- Faculty & Advisors : Your Username and password are the same as your Novell/Groupwise Account.
IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS LOGGING IN TO MYGEORGIASOUTHERN, PLEASE CALL IT SERVICES AT 912 478-5429.
Check your Registration Time:
- Select Student Services & Financial Aid
- Select Registration
- Select Select Term
- Select the term and click on Submit Term
- Select Check your Registration Status
- This will show you detailed information about your Registration Status including the dates and times you may register.
Registration:
- Select Student Services & Financial Aid
- Select Registration
- Select Select Term
- Select the term and click on Submit Term
- Select Add/Drop Classes
- If you have hold(s) prohibiting your registration you will see a red stop sign and you can not add/drop courses due to holds on your record
- You may click on [View Holds] to see the holds-take note of how to remove holds and log out
- If you see a caution sign-this is an informational hold-take note of how to remove the hold and continue
- Enter your Registration Access Number (received from advisor)
- Select Submit RAN
- Click on Class Search
- Select Subject
- Enter Course Number
- Select Campus-choose Main Campus if taking classes on GSU campus
- Click on Get Classes
- Click in the check box beside the course for which you wish to register
- Click on Register
- If you have a Registration Error, you must search for another class - See Registration Errors
- You can add yourself to a waitlist, if one is available. Here are the Waitlist Instructions if you need help.
- When all of your course selections appear under Current Schedule you are registered
- Click on menu
- Click on Student Schedule by Day & Time or Student Detail Schedule to view and print your schedule
