Come address issues facing the GLBTQ community in a safe and open environment and examine ways to eliminate stereotypes. Attendees will also discuss advocacy and leadership skills which will allow for visibility of these issues in campus communities. Registration fee is $15 with a Student ID, and $20 for all others (including faculty/staff, community member), and will include a continental breakfast, lunch, and access to all sessions. A Gay Prom will follow the conference that evening from 8-12pm. The deadline to register is October1, 2010.

Yolanda Fairell, M.S. has earned a Master’s Degree in Sociology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She is a proud member of the National Speakers Association, the Tallahassee Chapter of Business and Professional Women’s Organization, the Tallahassee Society of Association Executives, the Florida Society of Association Executives, United Partners for Human Services, and Leadership Tallahassee Class 25. As a Professor of Sociology, Yolanda has enjoyed challenging the next generation through teaching the following courses: The Sociology of Work, The Culture of Human Organizations, Social Problems, and Social Stratification.



Robyn Ochs is a professional speaker and workshop leader, award-winning activist, and the editor of the Bisexual Resource Guide and the new 42-country anthology, Getting Bi: Voices of Bisexuals Around the World (2nd edition). Her writings have been published in numerous bisexual, women's studies, multicultural, and GLBT anthologies. Robyn has taught courses on GLBT history & politics in the United States, the politics of sexual orientation, and the experiences of those who transgress the binary categories of gay | straight, masculine | feminine, black | white and|or male | female.
