Military Advocate Coordinator (MAC)
Justin L Williams
Justin is a Native of Cordele Georgia. He joined the Active Army after graduation from Crisp County High School and completed Logistics Advanced Individual Training in 2006. In 2007, he was assigned to Headquarters Company, Special Troops Battalion 173rd Brigade Combat Team. He served as the Assistant Transportation Coordinator in the S4 during deployment to Jalalabad, Afghanistan. Upon completion of his tour in Afghanistan, he was reassigned to the 2nd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, where he would serve in both Headquarters Company as the Assistant Battalion S4 NCOIC, and as Delta Company 2nd 504th Supply Sergeant in Ramadi Iraq. He served in the Army for six years and achieved the Rank of Sergeant. Justin completed his service in November of 2012 and began his studies at Georgia Southern in the Fall of 2013. Justin is a former Student Government Senator, President of the Student Veterans Association, and currently President of the Sigma Alpha Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha.
His awards and decorations include, the Army Commendation Medal (3 oak leaf clusters), the Army Achievement Medal (3 oak leaf clusters), the Afghanistan Campaign Medal (with service star), the Iraq Campaign Medal (with Service star), the Army Good Conduct Medal (with knot device), the Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, the K.M. Brown Service Award and the Graduate Student Leadership and Service Award. His civilian education includes an Associate of Arts from Fayetteville Technical Community College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Georgia Southern University.
