Are You Experiencing Trouble With The Work Request System?

1. Security Firewall
   
   
   
   For security purposes if you are not on the Georgia Southern Campus you will be unable to access the TMA iService Request page from off campus. If you would like to submit a request, from off campus, please contact our Help Desk Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm at (912) 478-5728, or via email at houmaint@georgiasouthern.edu.
   
   
   
   
2. Browser Compatibility
   
   If you are experiencing problems with this application and are using Mozilla Firefox, Netscape or Apple Safari please try Internet Explorer. The iServiceDesk application is most compatible with Internet Explorer.
   
   
   
   
   
3. ActiveX Controller
   
   
   When you start a request in iServiceDesk in Internet Explorer, you may encounter an active content error from Internet Explorer. This diplays in a pale yellow rectangle at the top of your browser. Single left-click the rectangle and choose "Allow Blocked Content". A dialog window will display, asking to confirm this action. Choose "Yes". You may then begin using iServiceDesk.
   
   
   
   
4. Clean Access
   
   If you sign into the Internet through Clean Access as a guest user you will be unable to submit a request via the iServiceDesk. You must sign in as yourself to submit a request.

5. Down Time
   
   
   We must back up our system nightly between the hours of 11 pm - 3 am. During this time you will be unable to submit a request via iServiceDesk. If you have an emergency during this time, please contact your on-call Resident Advisor or University Police at (912) 478-5234.
