Work Requests
We have two options for work requests. One is for Internet and phone trouble, and the other is for problems with your room.

For problems with your Internet or Phone only, Click here. To submit a Facilites Work Request for other problems with your room, please click the link below.

The iServiceDesk Work Request System is only available on campus.

If you are on campus, please read the instructions below on how to submit a work-request and check your pop-up blocker first so that the Work Request System will open in a new window. To submit a request click here.

  • Please note! Certain requests will require our maintenance and custodial staff to enter resident's room or apartment. To read our room entry procedures click here.


  • Select "Submit a Request" from the left hand menu.
  • Select the facility -- this facility will always be Georgia Southern University.
  • Select the building.
  • Fill out all of the Request Form, including a full description of Work Request. If you do not provide sufficient information for your request it may be rejected.
  • Once you've submitted the request, you will receive your request number. Please print this for your records.
  • You can check the status of your request by using the "Search by Number" button and entering your work request number in the field box. When typing in a work order number, you must begin with the prefix "HO".
  • If you do not have your work request or work order number, please contact Residential Facilities at (912)478-5728 or email us at houmaint@georgiasouthern.edu.
