Telephone Information
Local telephone service is provided to all residence hall students as part of their
semester housing fees. The following indicates specific information for each residence hall.
One phone line / number in ROOM:
Brannen, Watson, Kennedy Suites: Call waiting is the only
feature offered; students should bring a phone and an answering machine.
One phone line / number in BEDROOM:
Sanford, Kennedy Apartments: Call waiting is the only
feature offered; students should bring a phone and an answering machine.
One phone line / number in each LIVING ROOM:
Eagle Village, Southern Pines, Southern Courtyard, University Villas: Each bedroom in these buildings also has a phone line / number; however,
it is not activated nor are the charges included in the semester fees. Students living in one of these units have the ability
to connect the bedroom phone line through Frontier (the local phone company in Statesboro) and will be responsibile for all
associated charges. To connect the bedroom telephone line, contact Frontier directly at 1.800.435.1504 or 912.764.9131 or visit
www.FrontierOnline.com. Available services for students in these buildings include local, long distance, voice mail, caller ID,
call waiting, call forwarding, high-speed internet(DSL), etc. Students are required to provide their own phone.
