Move-in Checklist
Read your Operation Move-In Map and bring it with you to orientation!
Read, sign (either online or on paper), and return your housing contract to the Department of University Housing.
Pay your $200 housing prepayment.
You can pay online by credit card or you can mail a check or money order to the Department of University Housing.
Contact your roommate via email to meet them and exchange other contact information.
Discuss what each of you will bring for the room when you and your roommate talk.
Sign up for SOAR at http://admissions.georgiasouthern.edu/orientation/
(new students only).
Attend the SOAR session this summer (new students only).
Register for your classes - first year students register during SOAR and returning students login into https://my.georgiasouthern.edu/ to register using WINGS.
Apply for Financial Aid at http://students.georgiasouthern.edu/finaid/ (if applicable).
Pay your semester fees; check your WINGS account for correct amount. Fall 2009 fee payment deadline is August 17, 2009. For additional information, please check the website at: http://services.georgiasouthern.edu/bursar/osf/studentfeespage.htm.
Pack your belongings; the Operation Move-In Map can help you with this. You can also go here: http://www.gsuhousing/whatToBring/.
Contact your coach or advisor if you are: 1) a participant in Sorority RUSH; 2) a member of the Marching Band; 3) an athlete; or 4) a student needing to check in early.

If you are bringing a computer, check the requirements for connecting to the residence hall network. Visit the ResNet website here: www.gsuhousing.com/resnet.
