Conference Services

Georgia Southern University is now accepting reservation requests for the 2011 Conference Season! The 2011 Conference Season will run from May 20th until August 1st, 2011. If you would like to reserve space for your conference, please contact Amy Taylor, Administrative Coordinator of Conference Services, at (912) 478-5406.

Most of Georgia Southern University's residence halls will be available for summer conferences. The accommodations in the residence halls range from apartments with private bedrooms and semi-private baths in Eagle Village and Southern Pines to shared bedrooms and community bathrooms in Brannen and Watson Halls.

Specific buildings may not be available during certain weeks in the summer due to student and parent orientation sessions, other conferences or programs, and/or renovations. Southern Courtyard will not be available at all as it will be used for students enrolled in summer school. Please contact Amy Taylor in the Department of University Housing at (912) 478-5406 for questions regarding rates and availability.

The Department of University Housing does not provide or coordinate transportation or reserve meeting spaces (outside the residence halls) for summer conference guests.

Guest Housing

Georgia Southern University will be offering short term housing in the Summer of 2011 to Georgia Southern students and guests of the University. These accommodations are available for students or guests needing to stay on campus for a short period of time. Summer guest housing will be located in Southern Courtyard and University Villas and will be available from May 20th through July 23rd. Summer guest housing will not be available July 6th through July 22nd. If you need accommodations for longer periods of time, may we suggest for a more economical rate that you sign up for either Short Term A or Short Term B Summer Housing.
