Tau Kappa Epsilon was founded on January 10, 1899 at Illinois Wesleyan University. Over 239,000 men have been initiated into the fraternity since its beginnings. Members of TKE value scholarship, character, leadership, teamwork, service, and brotherhood. The fraternity aims to make a positive difference in society and to make its members better men in the process.
