On October 13, 1890, eleven law students at Cornell formed a Law Fraternity, Delta Chi. In 1922, the fraternity opened its membership to men in all areas of study. There are currently 126 chapters, including 94,000 initiates, across the country. The fraternity promotes friendship. develops character, advances justice, and assists in the acquisition of a sound education.
