The National Pan-Hellenic Council Encourages Reading Among Youths
On Saturday, May 21,2016 members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council volunteered at Bulloch County’s first Community Reading Fair Carnival. The reading fair was designed to help improve literacy rates of the youth and young adults in Bulloch County by creatively getting students hooked on reading through the collaboration of community leaders and educators. The event included reading stations , drama skits, poetry readings , book giveaways, and carnival games. The event was an overall successful event! NPHC enjoyed getting the chance to help show students the importance of reading and excelling scholastically.
