Women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc attend Regional Conference

The Lambda Kappa Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc attended the 63rd South Atlantic Regional Conference March 24-27th. During the conference several members of the chapter won awards for their hard work and scholastic achievements. Amber James won the Fredricka S. Wilson Sisterly Relations Award , Deandra Rucker won the Stella J. Lett Scholarship as well as the Norma S. White Scholar Award, and Laila Abdi won the Freddie L. Groomes-McLendon Caring Award. Deandra Rucker, Karen Campbell, Tyler Jacobs,Chassidy Mitchell,Danielle Turner,Di’monds Davidson,Antoria Frazier,Shayla Prescott,Chelsea Reese,and Morgan Tatum were honored as Undergraduate Scholors for having a 4.0-3.7499 Cumulative GPA.
