Southern Alumnus Tom Wimberly, ’78 recently received an invitation for membership into Sigma Chi International Fraternity’s Order of Constantine for his commitment and volunteer service to the organization.

Induction into this select group is considered to be the highest honor Sigma Chi can bestow upon one of its members. Order of Constantine members have volunteered for the organization for more than 20 years.

The new inductees will be honored at a formal luncheon at Grand Council in Skokie, Ill., in the company of Fraternity and Sigma Chi Foundation leadership, family, friends and sweethearts. Others will be recognized at local ceremonies hosted by their respective alumni or undergraduate chapters.

The Fraternity has inducted 685 brothers into the Order of Constantine since its inception at the 47th Grand Chapter in Seattle in 1948.
