The mission of the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life at Georgia Southern University is to enhance student development by creating an environment that fosters and supports Academic Success, Brotherhood/Sisterhood, Civic Engagement,  and Leadership within Georgia Southern University’s community.

There are 38 chapters that make up Georgia Southern University’s Fraternity and Sorority community. There are 25 fraternities and 13 sororities. When you join a fraternity or sorority, you are not just joining one chapter, but a council and a community.

Registration for Fall 2017 Sorority Primary Recruitment is now open! You must log into MyInvolvement to register using your campus email address. The final day to register is July 21, 2017 at 11:59pm EST.

Unrecognized Organizations

An “unrecognized” fraternity or sorority is one which may choose to exist “off campus” and does not follow university policies and regulations. These organizations are not permitted to use university facilities, post flyers, or have any of the privileges recognized organizations have earned.

The following organizations are not recognized by Georgia Southern University or any of the fraternity and sorority governing councils:
