Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
To apply for federal financial aid, and to apply for many state student aid programs, students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Electronic versions of the FAFSA make applying for financial aid faster and easier than ever. To apply for 2007-2008 financial aid, you should complete the 2007-2008 FAFSA prior to April 20, 2007, to ensure priority handling of your application. The 2007-2008 academic year includes:
- Fall 2007
- Spring 2008
- Summer 2008
- If you plan to enroll in any of these terms, you must complete the 2007-2008 FAFSA.
For the 2008-2009 academic year and beyond, the priority FAFSA filing date is April 20th of each year for enrollment in the following fall semester. The 2008-2009 academic year includes:
- Fall 2008
- Spring 2009
- Summer 2009
- If you plan to enroll in any of these terms, you must complete the 2008-2009 FAFSA.
