Federal Work-Study (FWS)
FWS is a need-based program awarded as part of the financial aid package. Students are notified by mail if they are awarded the opportunity to participate in this work program. Under this program, students are eligible to work up to 150 hours per semester (10 hours per week) and are paid biweekly.  Funding is very limited for this program.

America Reads
America Reads is a Federal Work Study program (need based-award). Students work in the Bulloch County public schools tutoring Kindergarten through 3rd grade students in reading. Students may work up to 10 hours weekly (150 hours max. per semester). Participating students must maintain a 2.5 overall GPA. Contact Educational Opportunity Programs for more information.

Institutional Work Program/Student Employment Center
The Institutional Work Program is not need-based, so any student may participate as long as he or she is enrolled at least half-time. Under this program, students usually work between 10 and 20 hours per week at minimum wage. Jobs are posted and updated regularly on the Student Employment Center website.
