Welcome to the Dean of
Students Office website at Georgia Southern University!
The mission of the Dean of Students Office (DOS) is to
provide leadership and vision for delivering student services that assist with
personal development and intellectual growth. The office advocates for students
on judicial matters, fosters experiences that promote the celebration of
diversity, promotes educational opportunity and access, and facilitates
communication through various facets of student media.
The Dean of Students Office believes that it is essential that issues and challenges confronting students be identified so the University may serve them more efficiently and effectively. “Talk With the Dean” is a tool of the Dean of Students Office which allows students the opportunity to communicate University-related concerns in an effort to improve the quality of student life here at our institution.
