How to Look-Up your CRN #'s
A Step-by-Step Guide
If you do not know how to find your CRN #'s, or view available classes please follow the steps below.
If you do not know what a CRN # is, then visit our Early Registration: What are CRN #'s Guide.
This Step-by-Step Guide will show you exactly what we need and how to navigate the GSU website to retrieve CRN #'s.
First, you must visit the My Georgia Southern Webpage at https://my.georgiasouthern.edu/ and sign in with your information
Next, you will click on "WINGS", WINGS allows you to pay your tuition, check your grades, and register for courses. It also allows you to look up classes that will be available in the future, which is what we will be searching for.
After clicking on WINGS, click on "STUDENT SERVICES & FINANCIAL AID"
Next, click on "REGISTRATION"
Next, click on "LOOK-UP CLASSES TO ADD"
Now you will select which term you will be searching for. Select the term from the drop down list.
After selecting the term, you are now in the Class Schedule Search page. You will use this page to search for classes that were suggested by your advisor. FOR EXAMPLE: if your advisor suggested you take POLS 1101, then select "Political Science" from the drop down menu, and click search.
Once you select the class and hit search, you will be given a list of classes that will be available for you to register for, but remember to refer to the advisement sheet from your academic advisor. Once you find the class you are looking for, making sure it is available at the day/time and with the professor you prefer, write down the CRN # that corresponds with that particular class. The CRN is circled in red below.
Make sure you write down the CRN #'s on your advisement sheet, to turn into your Disability Center counselor during Early Registration. The counselors cannot register you if you do not have the CRN #'s. If you are still unsure as to what a CRN # is please visit our Early Registration: What are CRN #'s Guide.
