How do I submit my documentation?

Students can email their documentation to deanofstudents@georgiasouthern.edu using the subject line: Hardship Withdrawal Documentation or fax documentation to (912) 478-7301.

When is the deadline to request this withdrawal?

The deadline to request a Hardship Withdrawal is the last day of classes each semester.

Can I just withdraw from one or some classes?

Generally, no. The Hardship Withdrawal is an all or nothing process. Only special circumstances will be approved for partial withdrawal.

How will I be notified of the decision?

Our office will communicate with you through email after a decision has been made.
