Terri Duck, Ph.D.
Dr. Duck received her doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from Louisiana Tech University and completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Counseling Center at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. She has worked in many clinical settings including university counseling centers, an addiction recovery center, child and adult outpatient settings, and an adolescent group home (assessment). She joined the GSU Counseling Center staff in August 2016 as a staff therapist. Her clinical interests include anxiety, gender and sexual minority concerns, perfectionism, and interpersonal issues. Her therapeutic style is based in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other acceptance- and mindfulness-based strategies with an emphasis on values and self-compassion.
