Performing a Job Search

To get started with Eagle Career Net and use your MyGeorgiaSouthern username and password to access your account.  All students and alumni have an Eagle Career Net account.
Follow these next steps to have a successful experience navigating Eagle Career Net.
  • Update your profile and keep it update!  If you change your major or graduation date, then you need to update your Eagle Career Net profile.  This is what determines your eligibility.
  • Upload a current résumé!  Not only can you use this résumé to apply to jobs or RSVP to career fairs, but your résumé can be sent out to employers for you.
  • Use the My Jobs button in Eagle Career Net to begin your job search by company industry, type of organization, graduate, undergraduate, city, or state. This tab will display opportunities from full time positions to internships to on campus opportunities. Each position on Eagle Career Net will have a profile in which you can choose to visit the company website, favorite the position for later, or apply online.
  • Use the Career Shift tab to search for jobs in various field within a certain mile radius from a zip code that you’d wish to search for employment. With this tab you have the ability to save this search.
