Multimedia Film & Production
Major Information
The major in Multimedia Film & Production (MMFP) offers students the opportunity to prepare themselves for careers in the audio, video, film, and Internet production industries. The program provides students with hands-on instruction in scriptwriting, audio and video production, announcing, and website production in its state-of-the-industry facilities in beautiful Sanford Hall. The curriculum ensures that each student’s education is complimented with a solid grounding in the liberal arts, theory, history and legal and ethical mass communication standards. Quality writing, teamwork and a dedication to excellence are stressed throughout the curriculum. On-campus media activities and an internship provide students with out-of-classroom opportunities to hone their media skills.
