Athletic Training
Major Information
The major in Athletic Training provides interested students with theoretical and professional preparation in allied health care for athletes and physically active persons. This entry-level preparation is designed to facilitate an academic foundation that will allow the graduating student to seek professional certification, professional career opportunities in both the public and private sector, or to continue their education at the graduate level. The above objectives are met through a combination of educational experiences that incorporate related academic course work and supervised clinical experience.
