Parents

Career development is an evolving process with many steps that range from choosing a major to finding full-time employment.  As a parent and family member, your encouragement and guidance can help your student stay on track. Career Services created a Four-Year Career Plan to assist your student in their career development  This helps to ensure your child stays on track and allows you to become a partner in your student’s career journey.

No matter where your student stands in the process, we have the resources to help. Encourage your student to visit our office and website, and take advantage of the wide array of services, programs, and resources available to help them reach their career potential. Scheduling an appointment with a career counselor is a great first step.

Services available for your student include:

  • Career Assessments and Advising
  • Résumé Critique
  • Job Search Assistance
