From the Director

On behalf of the Office of Career Services, I welcome you to Georgia Southern University. I am Warren Riles, Director of Career Services.

Our missionis toguide members of the Georgia Southern University community in establishing their career objectives through comprehensive programs, which provide opportunities for individuals to learn strategies useful in reaching their career goals. As advisor and catalyst, the Career Services staff seeks to assist students with choosing their major and career interests, gaining relevant work experience, as well as providing guidance in their full-time professional job search, through three distinct area
s: Career Exploration and Education, Experiential Education, and Professional Employment.
 
We also focus on developing strong relationships with employers and to assist them in their human resource needs. We provide many services such as career fairs, on-campus recruitment, and resume referrals that assist in meeting each organizations needs. If the need is filling internship, cooperative education, or full-time employment opportunities, we are dedicated to providing each organization personal and prompt service.
