class a career related assignment, Career Services offers
several suggestions for the classroom activities and/or homework
assignments:
- Develop a future resume
- Develop a current resume
- Take a computerized assessment program
(FOCUS or GCIS)
- Write a career paper on a career of interest
- Conduct an informational interview with
a professional
- Shadow a professional
- Develop a professional portfolio
- Conduct a CRC Scavenger Hunt
- Learn to identify their transferable skills
- Attend Career Fairs, Graduate School fairs,
or Major Fairs and write a report on the experience
- Attend Career Services workshops and special
events and write a summary
