If you would like to give your class a career related assignment, Career Services offers several suggestions for the classroom activities and/or homework assignments:

• Develop a future resume
• Develop a current resume
• Take a computerized assessment program (FOCUS or GCIS)
• Write a career paper on a career of interest
• Conduct an informational interview with a professional
• Shadow a professional
• Develop a professional portfolio
• Conduct a CRC Scavenger Hunt
• Learn to identify their transferable skills
• Attend Career Fairs, Graduate School fairs, or Major Fairs and write a report on the experience
• Attend Career Services workshops and special events and write a summary
