Career Classes

Career Services teaches two career related courses.

  • The Career Exploration Class (GSU 2121) is geared towards freshmen and sophomores who have not chosen a major and is designed to assist students with the self assessment process to identify interests, skills and values as related to careers. Karen Townsend Murphree teaches this class on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00-11:50am. This is a two-credit course.

  • The Professional Development Class (GSU 2122) is geared towards juniors and seniors who are beginning their job search and is designed to assist students with their job search including resume writing, interview skills, portfolios, and graduate school planning. Amy Rowell teaches this class on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:00-11:50am. This is a two-credit course.
